This Business Intelligence Lead is responsible for delivering Business Intelligence solutions and capabilities to support CDPHP’s business operations. This role will promote the capabilities of the corporate BI platform. They will also participate and drive solutions with the rest of the Business Intelligence (BI) team(s) in discussions to improve analytics, improve BI methodologies, and implement sound business solutions. Working together with the team the Business Intelligence Lead will suggest and drive to new and improved directions in delivering information to the end business users. The Business Intelligence Lead will work with the business users to collect and document report requirements acting as the functional and lead technical liaison with the business. The responsibilities will also include performing root cause analysis and resolution of problem tickets and incidents.
Bachelor’s degree required. 7 years relevant experience may be substituted for degree.Degree in Informatics, Statistics, Finance, Health Care, Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 7 years analytical and/or data analysis experience that includes but not limited to: querying structured data sets, evaluation of business process and problems, feasibility studies, preparing detailed business requirements, supporting end users and system testing required.
Minimum of 6 years experience in one of the following: Cognos, Tableau, Crystal Reports, Business Objects or SAP products preferred.
Minimum of 4 years experience in leading, developing and supporting Business Intelligence projects or quality improvement initiatives required.
Experience in the health care or manage care industry preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge and ability of analytics, including but not limited to statistical, regression and complex analysis required.
Demonstrated Data Warehouse concepts and knowledge of best practices and standard methodologies required.
Demonstrated ability to retrieve and analyze data as well as the ability to produce and present comprehensive reports required.
Knowledge of healthcare process, rules and regulations preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage and shift priorities to meet day-to-day operational needs as well as mandated deadlines required.
Excellent PC skills required.
Excellent verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills are required especially leading large meetings to conclusion.
Experience with SQL required.
Experienced with a formal System Development Life Cycle preferred.
Mentor to others in the organization, preferred.
Ability and willingness to support change, acts as a change agent.
