Job Description:

Function & Scope

Under the general supervision of the Associate Director, the person will assist with project and resource management, and all departmental initiatives. The person will interact with RF management, central office, SUNY System Administration, and campus staff.


  • Serve as a team member on Strategy and Planning and RF-wide projects and effectively handle assigned tasks by deadlines to move projects forward.
  • Produce analyses, conduct research, write meeting notes, and produce presentations.
  • Compile information for monthly RF Status Report.
  • Ensure Strategy and Planning website content is current.
  • Administrative duties as assigned.


Education and Skills

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program.
  • Excellent organization, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact well with a wide variety of constituents.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technology.
  • Ability to perform research, gather data and present information effectively.
  • Aptitude for maintaining website content.
  • Ability to work independently to manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail.
