Full Time IA/Secretary in the Maternity Dept. at St. Peter's Hospital
St. Peters 3 Pavilion-Maternity Department is seeking an individual to assist with clerical duties. The Unit Secretary is the receptionist for the unit and is often the first person to greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff.
This individual coordinates the flow of information at the nurse's station in a positive and timely manner, assists physicians, nurses and other health care providers in coordinating the patients stay.
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
-transcription of physician orders
-medical record maintenance
-answering phones and data entry.
The individual would need to possess computer skills and pleasant phone manners. Medical terminology is preferred for this position but not required.
Must Have: High School Diploma/GED
