What You'll Do Here:
Your professional adventure will begin the first week in June and will continue throughout the next 10 weeks. You will get to know peers and leadership during this time and experience our professional development workshop series together. Each intern will have a primary business group at Cengage and will have the opportunity to get real, hands-on work experience.
Skills You Will Need Here:
Progression towards a Bachelor’s degree
GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred
Active engagement on campus via extracurricular activities
Motivated, self-starter with a passion to better technology in the education industry
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Desire to work with content managers on manuscript creation and preparation, reviewing art manuscripts and permissions
Interest in assisting Content Managers in other associated content managements tasks, including review of course content for online courses (MindTap) and validating assessment content
Familiar with conducting web-based research as needed
Comfortable with independent work and able to work with cross-functional teams
Non-STEM majors preferred
Must be comfortable with repetitive tasks (such as checking permissions)
Adaptability and attention to detail are critical
