REPORTS TO: Branch Manager
CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non Exempt
AVAILABILITY: Monday 8:00am-4:15pm, Tuesday-Wednesday 8:15am-4:15am, Thursday-Friday 8:15am-5:15pm, Saturday 8:15am-1:15pm
*Minimum of 1 Saturday per month required
Tellers provide Bank customers with a variety of specific services, mostly involving the exchange of cash and/or negotiable items in a friendly and professional manner. Bank services are recommended as customers express an interest and need.
Essential Job Functions:
Wait on customers and process their transactions,including deposits/withdrawals to accounts, payments on loans, check cashing,money order purchases, etc.
Perform computer transactions to affect the customer’saccounts when transactions are made.
Calculate and count change and/or monies due fromcustomers, based on the transactions they request.
Deliver quality customer service to customersconsistently.
Promote and sell Bank services and products tocustomers in a consultative manner.
Perform daily proof of transactions and cash.
Education & Experience:
High School graduate (or GED) required, orcurrent high school student anticipating graduation.
Minimum of six months cash handlingexperience and customer service experience preferred.
Basic Math Skills.
